About HostToolkit

HostToolkit is run by a short-term rental host in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, who also builds software for hosts. It exists because the hard part of hosting isn't finding a tool, it's figuring out which one fits the job you have right now, at the size you are right now.

How we choose

Each tool is listed under the job it does, with publicly available pricing (re-checked regularly) and an honest "best for." Verdicts draw on vendor documentation, published pricing and host community feedback. Where pricing isn't public, we say so instead of guessing.

How we make money

Some outbound links are affiliate or referral links, and vendors can buy clearly labeled featured placements. Neither changes our verdicts or rankings within the editorial lists.
